Artist's Comments
This was the Christmas card I did for 2000. (minus the text) It was a bit rushed, and I didn't like their faces in the long run, but I think that overall it is a pretty card. The characters are Heero and Relena from Gundam Wing. (can you tell I was into Gundam Wing at one point?) This was actually my version of them from the doujinshi Gundam Fantasy, that I was working on. I really like the Glowy effect on the ground and Heero's wings. I'm not certain how I got it though. It was random playing with filters and various color effects. The snowy plant things were a pain in the ass. I saw them in a doujinshi and was like "Those are so cool! I wonder if they drew them by hand?" So I drew them by hand, and came to find out that you can actually buy those flowers in a screen tone. ;p
